Field Day
Here's some pictures from Saturday's Field Day festival in Victoria park. The line up was amazing - I didn't see all the bands I wanted to see as there were too many good ones playing at the same time. But I did catch my favourite girl band Warpaint, Zola Jesus, Ariel Pink, The Horrors, Anna Calvi and 2.54.
Ariel Pinks Haunted Graffiti
Jenny Lee Lindberg -Warpaint
Everyone sporting my We Walk on Ice bracelets!
Sleepy Christina..
When I cycled home that night police cars we're all over the streets. Little did I know what was going on just a bit further down the road in Tottenham. Yesterday Brixton and today the riots in Hackney, Peckham, Clapham and Croyden etc. My old street in Hackney was one of the worst affected areas with burning cars and kids occupying the street and the estate for hours..
There's got to be a change, when people have nothing to loose they don't give a shit.
It's time that the people in charge of this country start seeing what's really going on..

Tales of Terror
Some days you get a gift from someone even though it's not your birthday, you haven't done anything extraordinary and as far as you're aware it's just any old day.
Today was one of those days.
My drummer and good friend Lincoln gave me a book.
He knows me really well, he knows that I'm obsessed with water and the unknown creatures living in it. Therefore he got me this book. Thank you, I like my bed time stories dark and under water..
