Back home

I've spent the week at my parents house in north Sweden, just drinking coffee, sunbathing and seeing friends and family.
'
Mum ,tanned as gingerbread cookie! I defiantly did not inherit the tan gene..
Mountain water beach.. It's pretty cold but I braved swimming quite a few times.

Hanna and Dan were in Östersund for the week too so we hooked up to go to Storsjöyran festival together.
Dan made me laugh so much mocking me and Hanna for posing..
I love photographing Hanna, she always looks so beautiful !
I met up with good friends Hanna and Malin later on for a drink or two before heading up to see Lykke Li on the main stage who was absolutly devine..
Tomorrow I'll be back in London and this years summer holiday will be over..

Can you afford to not eat cheese?

My parents drove me back home to their house in north Sweden after a busy weekend in Stockholm. So naturally I visited my favourite thrift "barn" today and picked up a few things.

Mum found these pretty coffee cups for grandma and granddad.
Here's what I found:
* a 1930's swing record * a 1960's candle holder *a home made table cloth * a tobacco tin for my plectrums* a saucer with roses for my saucer collection.
This peacock hook will be perfect to hang necklaces on . It's not second hand but  from Indiska which is a chain store that only sells things from India. I always pick up something from there when I'm in Sweden.

My poor parents are storing about 10 boxes of mine in their garage so every time I'm home I find things that I had forgotten about.
For instance last night I found some miniature furniture which will look good  in the doll house after a bit of paint.
I also got a new poster that the lovely girls from Local Strangers gave me as a gift after we played their little pop up flea market on Saturday. It say's : Can you afford to not eat cheese? Answer NO , there's always room for cheese.. Will look great in my kitchen! Thanks girls xx

New friend

There's a little furry one that comes to see my parents from time to time. I had the pleasure of meeting him today..

Hanna and Anthony's flat

I went to Stockholm with my band We Walk on Ice this weekend for a mini tour (you can find the pictures here.) I also managed to pay my good friends Hanna and Anthony a visit and I just had to take some photo's of their amazing  flat.
It's not very We haven't the money or life on a shoestring but it is breath taking..
Hanna has got an eye for beauty so no wonder she just landed a job at Swedish interior design magazine Sköna Hem!
Sweet Bambata who I used to dog sit when she was a puppy.
I love these little Baby head candle holders.
